Monday Mischief: A Bad Case of Etsy Fever...

Since opening shop on Etsy, I have been spending more and more time perusing all of the amazing, lust-worthy items on the site [I have to be careful or I will spend all of my profits!]. I made a splurge purchase this weekend...granted, I have been doing quite well with my spending...and I am so excited to receive these boots from Cherry Pick Vintage! I think they are the perfect all-weather boot: equally practical with summer dresses and jeans in the cooler months.

Here are some more goodies on Etsy that I'm just in love with right now:

I'm kind of dying to try Gigi perfume from Lulu Beauty -- Madonna apparently adores this fragrance!

Delicate, yet rough-hewn, these stackable rings by Beadinbabe are just so classic and versatile.

As if the Art Nouveau-inspired design on these journals by Immortal Longings wasn't enough to mesmerize me, each journal is also based on a Shakespeare character...love it!

The combination of leather and gold on this necklace from Terminy is so rock-n-roll-gorgeous, but it is also so subtle and feminine [a hard combo to pull off!]

One of my favorite poet[s] of all time is Michael Field [which was a pen name for two women lovers who co-wrote all of their poetry together as one person]. This slightly eerie, but beautiful print by The Little Chickadee makes me think of them.

Iluchka is a Tel Aviv beauty that makes romantic, feminine clothing for the "desperately hopeful." I truly can't get her vintage-inspired Sofa top off my mind!

There is something faintly 1920's about these headwraps by Deedoubleyou, and they seem like the perfect alternative to those boring cotton headbands from the drugstore.

No need to give up your love for leather in the summer months...this buttery-soft, ivory tote made by Rennes le Chateau is clean, classic, and would go perfect with a sundress!

I'm not usually a huge bracelet wearer, but Erica Weiner's reproduction Victorian wedding bracelets are just too lovely for words.

A top that I would literally wear everywhere...for ages. This bat sweater by Ninu is made in Italy and looks so soft and irresistible.

Hello darling! I haven't yet dared to have a proper look at etsy - I know I'll spend all my money there and end up broke after two weeks or so... Being a student is tough. Those rings got me wondering, though, since they're just the right combination of cool and gorgeous. Oh, what to do, what to do?

I've moved my blog, by the way! From now on I'll be at http://lostinaspotlessmind.wordpress.com/
I'd be honoured if you dropped by sometime and told me what you think :)

maggie -- Of course, your products are wonderful! And, yes, Etsy is so addictive.

sharon -- thanks! I'm so excited for the boots to arrive!

wicked halo -- thanks dear...and they are priced well, too!

airam -- I will change your address on my blogroll ASAP. So happy to hear from you...yes, Etsy can be a very expensive habit!

Wow, you're fast! :)
Mostly it was the post-editor in Blogspot that drove me a little crazy - I found the image-uploader unpredictable and sometimes the text would mysteriosly do weird things all on its own, such as making the space between the lines bigger etc. I'm really glad I swithced, since wordpress makes you do so much more, and is (after that first trying-to-make-sense-of-things-process) actually very user friendly :) The last thing that made me decide, is the fact that you can have "pages" connected to your blog, such as the ones I have for "metablogging", "list of the month" and so on. I noticed La Couturier had this and have wanted it ever since. I truly recommend it; even though it takes a little while to understand wordpress, it's sooo much better once you do!
