Bijoux: Necklaces from J Crew and Anthropologie

I am smitten by the pretty bijoux at J Crew and Anthropologie right now -- the necklaces in particular! They have a 1800's French feel about them. I imagine one catching me eye in a shop window as I stroll about the Paris Arcades in my swooshing gown...

    ambika -- Yes, the Anthro ones particularly remind me of this 20's metal purse that belonged to my grandmother.

    kat -- I wish we had one here...I basically have to do all of my shopping online [with the exception of vintage!]

    love them. some pals gave me a long necklace made out of leftover sari thread in gold, purple, orange, and red all twisted together. this weekend i hung a zodiac good luck charm from chinatown in san francisco and a tiny handmade bell from it in honor of the new year! i like necklaces made of special charms, and these you've pictured remind me of that kind of thing...

    Maggie -- Their stores are heavenly...unfortunately, we don't have on here, so I can only enjoy them when I travel.
